Or, you could decide to change something up in your closet to make your happy outfits more accessible when you want them.

Find the Joy

Weird to say (even though I live my day to day life with fairly fixed routines and to-do lists), I secretly have caught on to the enjoyment of unexpected change.

Not sure my family would believe me if I told them that lol! “You are so structured, Catherine! Not everything has to be perfect all the time.”

Okay, okay so yes I continuously have that panic button going off when something is all of a sudden different from my design for the day, but wow it can really be exhilarating when I get to the next moment in time (or maybe after a few minutes of stunned mode).

It can be AWESOME when I allow those light bulbs to start going off and folders of ideas start unpacking in my brain of my next step.

I can find joy in a plot twist!

Take on the Unexpected

I can choose to delight in new possibilities . . . even if it takes me a bit to visualize it and make that tiny tip-toe toward it. It could be an adventure or inspire a turn of events I now design.

I’m still giggling at my openness to moving to Costa Rica to pursue my desire to immerse myself in the Spanish language and culture. How did my brain even get there?

But hey, I do have determination and I’m keeping that post-it up on the wall.

Love my goals!

Equip Yourself

The truth is . . . can we ever fully be ready for every plot twist popping up in our day?

Maybe not. But, there are certainly mindsets we can choose and tools available we can use to assist us along the way (before, during, and after when it’s time to reflect and move forward).

For example, want to know a little tool that really helps me center myself and embrace those plot twists daily? Click here.
